arrow_forwardSeven out of ten patients who visit Privee Breast Clinic come through referrals.
A few years ago, a mother was fortunate to have her breast cancer detected early and successfully treated with surgery at Privee Breast Clinic.
Since then, she has been visiting Privee every year for regular check-ups—now accompanied by her two daughters.
Another patient, who visited Privee after hearing that her closest friend had been diagnosed with breast cancer, was found to have ductal carcinoma in situ—just before it progressed to invasive cancer.
Grateful for the early detection, she later introduced our clinic to another friend.
It seems that the heartfelt mission of Privee Breast Clinic to protect and cherish
the lives of women is gradually being shared and felt in the everyday lives of our patients.
Sophisticated
With a warm and welcoming interior design, we strive to provide not just physical healing,
but also a sense of tranquility and comfort for your heart and mind.

arrow_forward-
What does it mean to have dense breast tissue after a mammogram?
Dense breasts have more glandular tissue, which looks white on a mammogram. Because of this, mammograms alone may not clearly show any lumps or abnormalities. For more accurate results, we recommend a breast ultrasound along with the mammogram.
-
Is it safe to have an ultrasound during pregnancy?
If you're experiencing any discomfort, feel free to schedule a visit — examination and consultation are available. For routine follow-up checks, however, please keep in mind that during pregnancy, breast tissue becomes more dense, which may affect diagnostic accuracy. For clearer results, we recommend having the examination after childbirth, ideally once menstruation has resumed or breastfeeding has ended.
-
Can patients with breast implants receive screenings and undergo surgery?
Because breast implants are present, the procedure can be more complex than in typical cases. However, with extensive clinical experience and care, we are able to perform screenings and treatments safely—without damaging the implants or altering their position.
-
If a biopsy result confirms malignancy, what are the next steps in care?
If the results indicate malignancy, we promptly refer patients to Ulsan University Hospital for further evaluation. Patients are requested to bring a referral letter, biopsy report, CD, slides, and tissue blocks for a smooth and efficient process.
-
What is elastography (elastosonography)?
It is an ultrasound examination that measures the elasticity and firmness of a lump, displaying the results as colors and numerical values.
This allows for a more objective diagnosis of breast lesions and helps minimize unnecessary biopsies.
